The modal shows three options: auto-calculated round-up (with optional bonus increments), preset flat amounts like $1, $5, $25, or a fully custom entry.
The donation is added as a real Shopify line item — split into pre-configured denomination SKUs or a tax-exempt custom sale. Tracked like any other product.

Donations are real Shopify products — not custom sales. POSGivr uses a greedy coin-change algorithm to break any amount into your configured SKUs. A $5.50 donation becomes 1× $5.00 SKU + 1× $0.50 SKU, so every dollar is tracked through Shopify's inventory and reporting.
Already donated? POSGivr shows a banner with the current amount and lets staff swap or remove it cleanly — no duplicate lines, no confusion.
Each store's settings, transactions, and processed orders are stored independently. Roll it out to one location or all of them simultaneously.
